Amazing women doing wonderful things on the East Coast

Why is it important to mark International Women’s Day? Canadian female entrepreneurs make 58 per cent less than their male counterparts, according to TheBalanceSMC.com, but globally, Canadian women rank first in terms of involvement with newer businesses, ahead of the U.S., Britain, and other innovation-based economies. And, Canadian women rank sixth in terms of involvement in terms of established businesses. Their accomplishments can't be ignored. Here on the East Coast, there are many amazing women doing wonderful things – successful businesswomen, plucky entrepreneurs, dedicated volunteers, community activists, accomplished athletes.
