I have been using Desktop Manager for 10 years and it works well. But lately I was getting a problem with switching desktops in Windows 8. When I loaded the software, it worked fine in the desktop panel, but when I selected a desktop, it moved the previous desktop to the first desktop. I put the path for the software in the registry and it did not work. I searched the internet and found out it was due to a problem with the web browser which caused the issue. I uninstalled the software and all the problems went away.
