Can you see the Philippines benefitting from these goals?

Personally, I think that by committing to achieve the 17 sustainable development goals is already a huge step for the Philippines. The sustainable development goals can actually be helpful and beneficial to our country because it serves as guide for us on what aspects we need to improve in our country. It can also be beneficial because through these goals we may be able to understand the things that we lack and how to achieve and have a sustainable development in each aspect. To add, it would not only help and be beneficial to us, but to other countries as well because these goals help overcome the environmental, political and challenges that we currently have. For example, in the Philippines, our economy is poor and there are numerous people who suffer from poverty. Through the goals, we are able to find out what aspect should we improve to lessen this poverty that is being experienced and what we should do so that we can be a more sustainable country to live in.
