The plugin creates passphrases for KeePass.
Readable Passphrase Generator is a KeePass plugin designed to generate passphrases that are grammatically correct but nonsensical.
These are easy to remember (for humans) but difficult to guess (for humans and computers).
Why use it?
Because you can make passphrases which are as strong as traditional "strong" passwords (8 letters long, upper, lower, numbers, etc) which you can memorise in 5 minutes instead of 5 days. (And its fun to read the phrases it generates!)
Some examples passphrases:
· Normal strength: a wound rebuffs an incline
· Strong strength: the statesman will burgle amidst lucid sunlamps
· Insane strength: plaid foresails repel ashamedly upon the birdbath
The plugin can be disabled when you want to use a more traditional passphrase.
How it works
- Readable Passphrase Generator requires a KeePass database for input and output. (You can also run it as standalone application which means that the files are created on your disk in which you place your KeePass database.)
- The plugin will open an interactive window.
- First a list of Suggested Passphrase Words will be shown.
- You can start typing a phrase, which creates a passphrase on your disk.
- You can scroll through the list of suggestions and edit the passphrase while typing it.
- When you are done type the first and last word of the passphrase.
- The plugin will save the passphrase on disk and close the window.
- In addition the passphrase will be printed in the window and in the log file.
- If you ever want to edit the generated passphrase open the dialog.
- You can print the log file.
- The plugin contains settings to modify the output of the passphrase.
- You can also save the generated passphrase as a name.
- PrintFile will save the generated file in either a PDF or a TTF format.
Notes:
- You will be asked for a Password for the database when the plugin starts. This database password will be deleted when the plugin is closed.
- KeePass will ask a Passphrase for the password protected settings when the plugin starts. This password will be deleted when the plugin is closed

Replace passphrases
When you open the plugin KeePass will ask you to supply a passphrase. This is a 13 letter passphrase which is entered under: Generate Passphrase.
The passphrase will be a word a.k.a. a "passphrase that has been unencumbered of all punctuation". The program will help you generate a passphrase which is as strong as a password.

Who Needs This?
In use, human beings are very bad at remembering passphrases (apart from remembering complex coding such as a code name or credit card number). It is not practical to hand out your passwords over email to friends and family.
If you don't want to waste time typing in a long, complicated, insecure, and insecure passphrase, then this is a good plugin to use.
Possible suggestions for any passphrase strength are: "we can call it a day", "a robin is a beautiful bird", "Never Eat At McDonald's", "I Have A Plan", "Open sesame", "Hello computer", and "oranspeed", which is the password in the game Pokemon.
Possible Suggestions for "insane strength":

It is 25 characters with a good mix of upper and lower case letters and numbers.
I think it is a good idea for when you don't feel like writing a really long, complex password. As a bonus it means you can easily copy and paste it into the password vault.
