Sports Day
Early Years thoroughly enjoyed Sports Day, and we were blessed with beautiful sunny weather! We enjoyed being outside with our whole school all day. Ms. Anna and Mr. Vadim organised many fun traditional Sports Day events including long jump, egg and spoon, sack races and relay races!
Sports day is so important to our Early Years pupils. They really enjoyed joining in and supporting the different houses and spending time with all the other classes. At EIS we want to encourage our students to en1gage in sports and a healthy lifestyle. 
The activities were challenging and rewarding, and we tried to put an emphasis on the importance of having fun and trying our best rather than the competitiveness and desire to come first at everything. 
All the children were encouraged to access the activities at a level that they were comfortable with developing a love for sport or physical activity, that will stay with them long after their time at school. 
Well done on yet another wonderful EIS event!
