Prog Finder, the most versatile application ever developed for tuning satellite antennas, was designed to guide you through the operation of the satellite stations and satellite receivers.
Seat yourself comfortably on your dining room table or in the local coffee shop. Select your operating country or city and click or double-click on the blue "Start Scan" button on the top-left corner of your screen. A list of all satellite stations and channels is automatically provided. The list includes information about signal strength, frequency, transponder, coverage, antenna and LNBs and coaxial cable.
After you've chosen the satellite with an adequate signal strength, click or double-click on the "Scan" button and the main program window will open. The tilt and azimuth of your dish are calculated automatically based on the measurements taken in the current location.
When you're satisfied with the tilt, click on the "Scan" button again and the elevation is calculated. You can alter your settings by editing the values in the "Elevation" and "Tilt" boxes and clicking the "Update" button.
Upon your request, Prog Finder can scan the worldwide web for additional satellite channels and offers information about additional transponders and transponder boosters.
Optionally, you may control the scan by manually entering the settings in the scan window. Prog Finder will display the current values in the "Elevation" and "Tilt" boxes and a graph of the level and quality in the main window.
The program features a convenient 50 MHz frequency scan where you can switch automatically to the transponder of your choice.
