Allegro Font Editor is a little bitmap font editor that allows you to work with font file formats that contain various bitmap features for rendering text on screen. It can import several font file formats including TrueType, Type 1, PostScript Type 1, TrueType Collection, TrueType Collection, Encapsulated PostScript (EPS), Adobe Type 1, Symbol, and many others. You can work with a font family/font collection at once, create new fonts, set the text spacing and alignment, and apply various text effects.
The font editor uses an interface based on the Ncurses library to make the font editing process as fast as possible and to minimize the amount of text processing needed to edit the font.

Installation:
Download the zip file you have just downloaded and unzip it on your hard drive. Open the Allegro Font Editor directory inside the package you unzipped. You will now see the file AllegroFontEditor.exe.
Open that file using Microsoft Windows Explorer. The application file will appear in the same directory as the AllegroFontEditor.exe.
Usage:
To start using the font editor, you must double-click the AllegroFontEditor.exe file you opened in Microsoft Windows Explorer.
If you double-click an existing font file, the application will launch and display all characters in that font. To edit a font that has been already loaded with characters, you must select the font family and/or font collection to work with. You can select any of the two items displayed in

What is Emacspeak?
Emacspeak is a low-latency speech-enabled terminal for use with the Emacs editor. It has the ability to read text files out loud and to execute programs. It can be used for accomplishing virtually anything that can be done with text files in Emacs. Emacspeak has been traditionally developed by gildas and more recently by bodhi.
