This invention relates to a lighting device with an improved light beam profile.
It is known in the art to provide a lighting device such as a flash unit with a light beam profiler such as described in U.S. Pat. No. 5,241,553 to Elrod et al. Elrod shows a structure for distributing light from an emitting surface into a preselected pattern of concentric light cones. Light is from a flash tube or laser. The tube is mounted in an epoxy resin. In U.S. Pat. No. 5,430,414, Spindt shows a structure with a circular central opening surrounded by a circular collar. As an LED (light emitting diode) is directed through the opening a pattern is projected, i.e. an image. A collimator is needed. In U.S. Pat. No. 5,050,789, an air-gap reflector is used for an imaging application. In U.S. Pat. No. 5,580,007, a wedge shaped reflector is used with a LED. The thickness of the reflector increases from the back to the front of the structure. The back is at an incident angle of approximately zero degrees. In U.S. Pat. No. 5,185,729, a reflector is used with a light guide. In U.S. Pat. No. 5,386,114, a reflector is used with a conical lens and a light guide. Light is distributed from a light source into a light guide. In U.S. Pat. No. 5,455,622, a plastic reflector is molded onto the back of an LED chip. The reflector is a highly reflective material which is attached to the back of an LED. In U.S. Pat. No. 5,510,756, a rod lens is used in a reflector.
It is known to use a lens to project an image. It is also known to use an LED which becomes a laser when the proper electrical energy is supplied to the LED.

Aurasoft Filtre is a free tool that can add filtering capabilities to the Windows Explorer shell. When activated, it prevents certain items from being marked and removed from the list; this can be done either for files or for folders. Selecting different default patterns and skipping rules lets the user set the file/folder types that are to be displayed or hidden, or by skipping certain files/folders. Both file operations and folder selections can be performed from the drop-down menu.

Advanced Image Maker is a software application that can be used to share a photo in a compact form, by converting it into JPEG and displaying it as either a monochrome or grayscale image. The program can automatically find the file's properties (exif tags), as well as some parameters of the photo.
