The DigitalWatch application was designed to be a free open source software for watching and recording DVB-T digital television. I started this project because I was unhappy with all the other applcations that were available at the time.
They all lacked in their ability to customize many aspects of the tv watching experience, so i created the DigitalWatch 0.x series which was designed around the WinDTV SDK and ended up having BDA support tacked on the side in the 0.7x versions.

You can do any or all of these things, not necessarily in that order:
You can change the language that the UI is displayed in. 
You can set the time zone used by the backend or internal clock on your Linux box.
You can set the time zone the web server in the DigitalWatch backend is located in.
You can set the time zone that the backend is stored in and display the time in. 
You can set the language of the backend to a different one.
You can set the icons that appear on the homepage (they can be changed)
You can set the background picture used on the homepage
You can set the language of the backend.
You can set the wallpaper that appears when you display the standalone AppBrowser.
You can download new weather data from a different source.
You can change the icon on the remote control app.
You can change the language used by the remote control app.
You can set the time format that the remote control app uses.
You can change the color of the user interface
You can show the measurement bar that shows the device temperature, and how much battery is used at each moment.
You can show the news ticker that shows the current weather and the national news

Notes
The DigitalWatch 0.3 version was released June 11, 2011, so that would be around the period of time that the iOS app was being updated to the iOS SDK.
The DigitalWatch 0.3 iOS version was the last version which was build with the WinDTV SDK. 
The DigitalWatch 0.3 iOS version was the last version that was distributed to iOS users. There are still some iOS users who are using the 0.3 version, and I do not have support for it at the moment. If you are one of them, please email me.
