This app will present some beautiful pictures from Bing photo category. It always shows sceneries first, and then shows the most attractive pictures in each category.
Bing Screensaver in the description says it shows the sceneries in Alaska first, which is not correct. I know the Alaskan sceneries are shown first when you click the "Alaska" button on the screen saver dialog box, but it is not shown when the screen saver is just starting to play.
For that reason, I found out that I could use an older pictures from Bing Photo category without the need of showing the sceneries first.
Bing Screensaver Support:
I use 3.6.15 build 14.9.51.82 and I have the black screen problem too. Bing screensaver works fine with 3.8.36.
Bing Screensaver User Experience:
(1) When the screensaver is starting, it shows pictures from the first picture category. Not all pictures in the category. I'm using a dual core so I assume it could be because I have so much system resources and tasks running in the background that the sceneries show up after a few minutes.
(2) When the screensaver is displaying pictures, the picture navigation is like the site.
I agree that the "Alaska" button is stupid. I know there's a "Options" button on the top-right corner. But I'm not sure where to find it.
(3) I have to kill the screen saver first to make the Alaskan sceneries show up.
(4) I can re-enable the "Alaska" button on the screen saver dialog box, but then the sceneries don't show up when the screen saver is starting.

1) Press Ctrl-Alt-Del to turn off the screen saver before booting.
2) See "Bing Screensaver Problems" threads.
3) Check for conflicting applications running with large amount of system resources and RAM.
