Hello, my name is Jacqueline Nguyen. I reside in Los Angeles, California. I have just accomplished my graduate study at the University of La Verne. I have begun to embark on this immersive experience opportunity with the Rx One Health 2021 cohort. I will continue with my passion and motivation into a Ph.D. program and be able to carry One Health values into real-world applications. If this opportunity arises to examine and synthesize research questions, this added value will help carry its impact. I am interested in the conservation of the coexistence between animals, humans, and their infrastructures. I am humbled by the experiences with my cohort, instructors, and host leaders who have shared their vision and passion for prevalent global health collaboration. I witnessed the cross-disciplinary roles of human medicine, researchers, technological advances, and public health to further the optimistic vision from the past, present, and future of One Health Institute. Relevant stakeholders are important to carry the mission and values of the One Health approach. I became curious and inquisitive of the present global health. I recognized the establishment scale of One Health Institute in the interface engagement with animals, humans, and within its built environment. My initial prompt response as a public health advocate for community well-being is my forefront of concern with my individuality in the conservation ecology of environmental sustainability.
