MORK is a synthesis/recording plugin inspired by the Mork & Mindy-films.
MORK's tracks can be recorded in realtime & saved as.wav-files
- The sample-rate determines the length of the sample-block
- The pitch is directly determined from the LFO-signal
- The LFO-rate determines the length of the LFO-signal
- The scratch-effect is triggered by the user by typing in the shortcut "mork-LFO-toggle".
(This is purely for testing & was added due to the immediate feedback of the stereo signal in response to entering the shortcut)
MORK's Sine-waveforms are converted to the output-signals by first changing the waveform to a square-wave then by a sine-sawtooth
The square-wave is converted to a sine-sawtooth by using the FFT-algorithm
(FFT-algorithm is used to make a close approximation of a Sine-wave)
All other waveforms are transformed to waveforms generated by a 100 to 350khz sine-wave.
All waveforms are very well defined so that they can be mixed together without any problems
The filters are set to allow much higher frequencies then needed for synths & has a much larger filter-coefficient than the synthesizers
The filter-coefficients are set to require many more filter-cycles than a synth to ensure that the filter-cutoff cannot be touched by the player while maintaining true low-passing.
MORK's filter-coefficient & cutoff-frequency can be changed by rotating the filter-knob
MORK's LFO-signal (to be precise the base-clock-signal of the saffire-player) is used to drive the Pitch LFO signal
MORK's VCA (volume-controller) is used to mix-down the input-signal from the delays
- The patch-knob can select between loop-mode, a preset-mapping & the internal MORK-signal
- The internal signal can also be connected to the REC.MIX-knob (which can by rotated) & looped back thru the patch-knob.
- The delay-fir-patch-knob select the amount of delay-pads in the slot on the RECTIFY-patch-knob.

- There are 2 sets of controllable oscillators, each tuned to a distinct frequency
- There's a pitch-wheel that can control the pitch for both oscillators simultaneously.
- There are 4 separate delays for both right & left channels, that's 16 total.
- There are 16 separate fuzes for both right & left channels.
- There's 4 controllers for each channel that are used to select the amount of the delay / distortion effect to use. There's:
- An AUX-send button that allows you to send the controller-controls to another synth for arpeggiation and modulating
- an Attack-knob, Sustain-knob, Release-knob that control the VCA (volume) for each channel independently.
- There is a freq-knob for each channel that can be used to alter the fuzes time ranges.
- There are 8 sliders, each controlled by a channel, that control the delays.
- There are 4 sliders, that can be used to select the amount of the delay / distortion effect to use. Each slider controls a channel's source. There's:
- An Attack-knob, Sustain-knob, Release-knob that control the VCA (volume) for each channel independently.
