In simple words: game = software + effect on the time that you spend to get new game.
In your case: game = software (with a massive effect on time), but with no effect on your life.
For example: Windows 1.0 was a game, people played (on DOS) in their house, sat on the couch (or laid on the floor with a bed) and played all the time.
The first Windows version was made on the personal computer and not on a game console like your 360. You could even run that version of Windows with a game console (ie. N64) in the same time than using your office. The result was that those people who played Windows 1.0 in the office didn't have much time to focus on playing a game (because of the computer software), but those who played on the couch at home didn't have to work all the time playing a game (because of the effect on the time).
Let's say now that you work in a company that develops games. The programming time that you spend doesn't affect you because the company releases games frequently. BUT, after releasing games regularly, there might be less time to work.
And if you are a student and you don't like the programming job, you can always decide to work in a company that doesn't have a game development department.
By thinking that a game is bad or a game is good is based on the assumption that you are a co-worker in a company which doesn't release games frequently, or in a company with a game development department which releases games less frequently because the programming staff has to work all the time to make games.
In all cases, the assumption that you work in a company which releases games often is flawed.

￭ The particle system is not entirely consistent from each frame to the next, some particles have an extra tilt effect when using the "Haze" button.
￭ The particle system does not have to impact performance or crash a computer.
￭ To turn of the particle system please use the F3 key to toggle it on/off.
