Opera Widget generates passwords that are safe from dictionary attacks.
This is based on a standard framework (SHA1) so it is appropriate for most applications and, while secure, it can also be easily and usefully manipulated.
Hasher Opera Widget is thus a useful tool for the programmer, or anyone who needs to generate password for their applications or web sites.
The master password (e.g. Gmail) and a (optionally) general parameter (such as your name or your site address) are given to Hasher Opera Widget.
A prompt for the user and a hash is then returned to the developer.
Using these two simple passwords the developer can then recover the original master password and general parameter in one single step.
Hasher Opera Widget is easy to implement and can be used on multiple web sites.

Password hasher
Password hasher is a PHP class that generates randomly and securely generated passwords based on a master password and a general parameter.
Not very well tested, but 100% pure PHP
This is not very well tested but it was written in pure PHP and it works as expected.
You are free to use it in your application and/or your website.

The passwords are very strong and you do not need to provide any information from your application to the hasher to generate a password.
You can use the master password of your Gmail, your Twitter, your Facebook, your bank account, etc.
The length of the generated password will depend on the length of the master password.
A real random generator will be used to generate the passwords.
It is likely to be less CPU intensive than other alternatives as it generates the passwords using precomputed HMAC SHA1 hashes.
