2021 Esri Science Symposium

What is it that decision-makers and conservationists need for reducing human-wildlife conflicts and achieving sustainability for all? Back by popular demand and to the largest audience ever (3039), the 2021 Esri UC Science Symposium welcomed biodiversity scientist and Chief Scientist of NatureServe. Dr. Healy Hamilton, as this year's keynote speaker. She showcased how the staggering variety of life on Earth is also the foundation of human well being and the source of solutions for adapting to a rapidly changing world. The audience truly enjoyed her multimedia stories from around the globe about the many reasons biodiversity matters, and why spatial tools are essential to its conservation. The intro slides of Esri Chief Scientist Dr. Dawn Wright are also at https://esriurl.com/symposium21 and the slides of Dr. Hamilton + ending Q&A and final recording are at https://esriurl.com/symposiumqa21.
