I have encountered some errors using google play. When I tried to download the app, I got this error:

It works fine on mine - I don't think its the file you're downloading. 
Update: 
I managed to get it installed. However, It's showing the map, but all the elements are blank. Perhaps you have some filter on your side that you can't remove, because I can see the Google map with all the details.

Your question is a bit vague. You're saying you have a map installed, but it's blank. If that's the case, could you update your question to show a screenshot of your installed map?
The first error you get could be because you're downloading the wrong file, or you're having issues connecting to the internet. 
If you have issues connecting to the internet, try downloading using the portable version of iGoMyWay ( and extracting the.app file in the iGoMyWay folder.
