I had a tough time in my Aakash preparation for the four main subjects which took me a lot of time to solve. It was not just the technical difficulty of the question paper but also the basic weak points I had in my knowledge about subjects that made it hard to solve. To read most of the books, sometimes you may need some extra time to solve.
I cannot say that it is perfect because it is by no means a substitute of the existing books, because it is better to read the books with a good practice book, but it can definitely help you a lot.
However, there are some books, to be honest, where they have copied from the other books. Their math books are just purely a translation of the actual books. And some of the physics books are good but they have a lot of errors on some points.
You can try to solve them through the practice books to get a proper idea of the questions, but it will not be useful.
If you really have time, you can go to the books which the question paper pattern is released and check out what was asked there.
Because they are supposed to give the same question paper pattern, it will not be a bad idea to see the question paper of the previous years of the institute.
