Bully 2 is a rather entertaining, combat game, the sequel to the well received Bully. It adds a lot of new features to the original. And yet, it still remains a pretty good platformer, with good controls and all the basic features you’d expect from such a game.
Description of Bully 2
If you've played Bully, you know what to expect from it. It’s a pretty small game with a lot of content. The game takes place in a small town. You play as a kid who is bullied by other kids. Through this game, you’ll learn a lot about fighting, and how to deal with other people.
Gameplay is pretty similar to the original Bully. You have the option to walk (“W”), jump (“A”), punch (“X”), and roll (“D”). These controls are a bit different because of the addition of an exaggerated swing to the punch. Movement speed and jumping are a little slower and you still have the ability to wall jump. But this feature is completely unnecessary and the developers did not give you an option to turn it off.
In fact, a lot of gameplay features were also missing from the original Bully, such as the ability to attack in a sneak mode, stealth and over-the-top plays. There is also an RPG element in the game. If you try to roll to another playing field, you’ll encounter a new enemy. There are also weapons to find, but you’ll need to find them first to use them.
And of course, you still have the option to throw objects at your opponents, and punch your way out of difficult situations. The developers have also added a bunch of new levels. Some of the levels have new gameplay elements like ramps, for example. There are 16 basic levels and more than 100 of various different levels.
