TaskWake uses scheduled tasks to allow you to "wake" your computer from sleep mode.
When your PC is asleep, your system has reduced power consumption and your CPU, hard disk, and other system components are powered down.
If you need to wake the PC, the program allows you to do so, turning the system back into an active state with full power consumption. However, if the computer is already awake, it will just awake, not perform an actual restart.
TaskWake supports Windows 7 and 2008 and later, as well as Windows 2008 R2 and later.
You can set TaskWake to wake your computer every day, every week, every month, every 15 minutes, at a specific time, or at random intervals.
The program also allows you to schedule a wake only on certain days, such as weekends or holidays, and you can set the wake time to a specified date or time.

We tried to bring the ShutDown Manager window up again, but failed in our attempt to locate it and terminate its process.

How to use:
1. In the main window, you can specify the countdown timer in seconds only.
2. You can choose to log off, restart or shut down the computer.
3. You cannot choose between minutes, hours or days.
4. You cannot choose between weekdays or weekends.
5. You can only set the countdown timer to a date/time.
6. You cannot specify any other parameters, apart from the countdown timer.
7. The countdown timer has to be preceded by a user name, which must be equal to the user name that will shutdown, restart or log off the PC.
8. If you hide the main window before setting up the countdown timer, the program will not work as intended.
