Please note that you can download a trial version of the software and load it on your own computer. This allows you to use the product for developing your own devices and does not require a license from SIMATIC STEP 7.
The Trial can be downloaded and installed according to the following instructions:
1.  *Step 1* Create a user profile:  Click on  **My solutions**. On the left-hand side, expand **My solutions**, then select **Step 7 Trial**.
2.  *Step 2* On the right-hand side, select **License Agreement**. Click  **I accept the terms and conditions**.
3.  *Step 3* On the right-hand side, select **Sign in to SIMATIC STEP 7**. Enter the user credentials you set up earlier in the .NET development suite and click **Next**.
4.  *Step 4* On the right-hand side, enter the **Product key**. Please enter the following code:

5.  *Step 5* A dialog is displayed where you can specify the **Product version**, the **Product language** and the **Product license key**. Select the corresponding settings and click **Next**.
6.  *Step 6* Click **Create**.

7.  *Step 7* On the right-hand side, select **Enable Trial**. On the next page, select **Create a trial period**. Then select the **Trial duration** you would like to use, select **Time** or **Space** as the **Files saved** and click **Next**.
8.  *Step 8* On the right-hand side, select **Installation**. On the next page, select **Download installation archive**. Then select the **Installation directory**. Finally, select **I accept the terms and conditions** and click **Next**.
9.  *Step 9* On the right-hand side, select **Start Installation**. On the next page, select **Install the trial**. Then select **Continue**. Finally, select **Create installation directory**. 3125841983
