DOE Science Director Chris Fall Tours Berkeley Lab
(October 13-14, 2020) - Chris Fall, Director of DOE's Office of Science, visited Berkeley Lab for updates on the Bayview Campus, Charter Hill (former Old Town) and the Lab’s contribution to the National Virtual Biotechnology Laboratory (NVBL). He was also briefed on the particle and radiation detectors currently being designed and fabricated for the ATLAS, DESI and CMB-S4 experiment. In addition, Dr. Fall also toured facilities at Emery Station East.
