Youth Voices at the HLM on HIV/AIDS

On 11th June 2021, ATHENA Network and #WhatGirlsWant focal point for Zambia, Afia Simpande, in partnership with Global Network for People living with HIV (GNP+), International Community of Women Living with HIV (ICW), Global Network of Young people living with HIV (Y+ Global) and Aidsfonds International hosted a twitter chat focusing on; Youth Voices at the HLM on HIV/AIDS Below are the Key Messages from the twitter chat: -The HLM was a great space to listen to powerful statements delivered by the youth -Youth Engagement was present at the HLM but the social media engagements and interactions could have started earlier and been improved upon The Political Declaration is a key document that will be essential in building towards #FeministFuturesHIV and building more responsive and inclusive healthcare systems Below is a curation of the twitter chat
