Visit of Karl Wilkinson
It has been a pleasure to host our Orbital Regional Head of Schools Karl Wilkinson this week. Karl spent three days visiting lessons, meeting with staff and working with me on school development initiatives and strategies.
His feedback was very positive; he very much enjoyed the lessons that he visited and wished he had been able to see and meet more staff and parents. Karl felt that the school was in a strong place, with great staff who really cared and were highly professional in their attitudes and approach to their work and very supportive parents. The students were, as usual, amazing!
You will be pleased to know that, after a crazy last minute dash to the airport in the heavy downpour we experienced last night , he made it safely onto his flight!
We look forward to welcoming him again next term.
