Biography: Märt Avandi was born in Rapla. Currently, he is an actor in Endla Theatre in Pärnu city. He has got a wife and two children. He had one more son who died of cancer at a young age. Märt Avandi is thus a spokesperson and chairman of the Estonian Association of Parents of Children with Cancer. Avandi has hosted a popular TV show "Your Face Sounds Familiar". One of the most important film roles he has had was in his feature film "Swordsman". Although Märt Avandi's scope is much wider, he is also one of Estonia's most valued comedians.
