Call Shop
This software is designed for managed services providers such as phone companies and ISPs that want to reduce their costs and workload by offering their subscribers services with no fixed priced contracts. A managed services provider has to enter contracts with its subscribers, perform the calls and collect the fees. To do all that, a managed services provider has to have access to all of its subscriber's phone calls and data, and deploy a special software tool, known as the Call Shop, which will perform all the calls and meter the calls for the managed services provider.
In the Call Shop, a subscriber can make calls using a private number or a subscriber identity module. The Call Shop can also make calls to regular subscriber numbers using a switching number. The Call Shop can also offer access to other networked devices of the subscriber using the same calls and switch usage tracking. The Call Shop is designed to help a managed services provider to meet service level agreements with its subscribers.
If one of these managed services providers wants to lease its Call Shop to customers, the Call Shop offers the following benefits:
• The managed services provider can lease its Call Shop to other customers at a fixed price.
• The managed services provider can perform call processing for other customers at a fixed price, while
• The managed services provider can earn a commission from the Call Shop at a fixed monthly fee.
NOTE:
To lease the Call Shop to customers, you will need to purchase a leased license from Racktel. The Call Shop will continue to work perfectly in all situations.
